Chat with Brenden Gerity

On this episode of "Coda Country Chats", Leigh discusses country music content creation with viral TikToker Brenden Gerity. Before knowing these two would start a podcast of their own, Brenden and Leigh met through TikTok and decided it would be cool to talk country music, live shows, and Nashville. Brenden talks about hearing country music at a young age and being turned off at first but eventually being roped back in and being obsessed with the genre. After realizing their similarities and some of their simpatico differences, Brenden and Leigh decided to create their own country music podcast, "Caught Up In The Country", named after the popular song by Rodney Atkins. In this episode, you'll also hear Brenden talk about his anticipatory plans for his trip to Nashville back in April 2023 (this episode was recorded in March). Brenden talks about his trip after returning with Leigh on the second episode of the "Caught Up in the Country" podcast, which is also dropping on the same release date as this podcast recording.
