David Kohl fondly recalls his visit to Bordeaux St. Estephe in 1989 for a magnificent wine dinner hosted by Christian + Lilian Thieblot, then-owners of Chateau Lilian Ladouys. As a terroir neighbor to vineyards such as Calon Segur & Cos d' Estrounel it is not surprising that in 2020 Chateau Lilian Ladouys was identified as a rising star within Bordeaux, with elevation to Cru Bourgeois Exceptionnel status.
