[00:00:49] Corey Berrier: Would you be against leaving a review on Apple or Spotify? If you haven't left a review, I'm talking to you. Today's episode is A banger with me, Corey. B, we talk about chat G p t, and how it's gonna improve your sales. We talk about how it's hard to talk to strangers and how I have email issues being a Gen Xer.   00:00:00] Welcome to the Successful Life Podcast. I am your host, Corey Berrier. And today, folks, we're gonna be talking about email issues. We're gonna be talking about Gen X and why that could be a blessing or a curse. We're gonna be talking about if you have a superpower, an ADHD brain, and sometimes that's hard. Harder than we think. And the third thing or fourth thing, we're gonna be talking about, is don't talk to strangers. The fifth thing we're gonna be talking about is how you can use chat g p T with your sales and how other companies, how newer companies are getting a grasp of this, and how other people are not. So it's gonna be a pretty interesting conversation about some interesting topics that we don't really cover on here. So the first thing is I'm, look, I'm almost 45 years old. . I was I guess I came up in that time, or I was I don't know if I was, maybe I skipped that day or that whole month, I'm not sure, but there's a, an age gap that 44, 45, 46 year old that either has worked in corporate America right and understands how email and all that stuff works. Then you got somebody like me who's been, I've been self-employed forever, and email. Just has not been something that I've been great at. In fact, I hate email cause I can't really get the words outta my head the same way that I can get them. I can't get the words outta my head, onto the paper, and then look the same. It looks crazy, I'll be honest with you, and it's extremely frustrating. And you might be thinking, well, Corey, how is this possible at age 40, almost 45? Well, it's possible because of what I just told you. And really that has to do with, being a GenX, right? We're in that middle ground of; we're between that the generation above us. I'm blanking out. And then the generation below. , which are,   Whatever the wind below us is. Whatever my wife is, I'm drawing a blank on what she is. It's interesting because, y'all know this, I work. F people in the trades, and most people in the trades are older, right? Especially plumbers. Their average age is 62 in North Carolina. So what's fascinating to me, and what I think I do really well is I'm able to kind of tie that together between that 62-year-old brain and that 35-year-old brain, right? Because 35-year-olds want something very different than that 65-year-old did when he was 30. . I'll say that again. A 35-year-old wants something very different than that 65-year-old did when he was 35. And so lots of times 65-year-olds think like a 65-year-old, of course not like a 35-year-old. And things have changed, right? And it sounds silly or cliche, but times have changed and things are operating at a very [00:02:55] different speed at a very diff different frequency. And if you're not, you're screwed.
