“Check Yourself”

On this episode of Living Your Truth w/Tavares we discuss checking yourself. What I mean by that is controlling yourself. Understanding that you do not have any control over the outcome of any situation. We can only control our own actions, so therefore we should focus on our actions and our part of the process. Many people are afraid to check themselves because they don’t want to be too hard on themselves. But who else’s job is it to make sure that the self is good? Checking oneself allows us to stay present, and to be accountable of ourselves at any given opportunity. Life is full of surprises, and it always has a way of making us stop in our tracks to realize what’s around us.
