Through them, she had field placement assignments at both the Corinne Dolan Center at Heather Hill in Chardon and the Alzheimer’s Association so her commitment to Gerontology started early. She has worked in three different nursing homes, for Hospice of the Western Reserve, and even took a detour and worked in chemical dependency for a few years. Today Carolyn works as an Elder Care Coordinator for the Kabb Law Firm in Beachwood. In conjunction with the attorney and benefits coordinator, they seek to make sure that their older clients’ legal, financial and care needs are met in the best way possible. Her current position enables Carolyn to take all of her previous experiences and apply them in one place.Carolyn explains her work and that of her team at Kabb is not cookie cutter.
