Guitarist Hans Luchs has been performing professionally in and around Chicago since moving to the city in the fall of 2007. Some venues Hans has performed at include The Auditorium Theatre, Van Andel Arena, Cliff Bell’s, The Green Mill, The Jazz Showcase, Andy's Jazz Club, The Velvet Lounge, Pete Miller’s, Buddy Guy’s Legends, The Mississippi Valley Blues Festival, Millennium Park, Art Institute of Chicago, Martyrs, The Empty Bottle, and internationally at The Rex (Toronto), CMW Festival (Toronto), The Bull’s Head (London), JJ Smyths (Dublin), The Jazz Bar (Edinburgh), Bert’s Jazz Bar (Belfast) and Zinco Jazz Club (Mexico City). In 2011, The Jazz Institute of Chicago selected Hans to perform in its annual “Young Lions’ concert. Since then, Hans has gone on to perform across the USA and internationally in Sweden, The UK, Ireland, Canada, and Mexico. Neon Jazz is a radio program airing since 2011. Hosted by Joe Dimino and Engineered by John Christoper in Kansas City, Missouri giving listeners a journey into one of America's finest inventions.
