Choices and Readiness: The One Place of Worship & Being Watchful Servants (Day 99)

Are we prepared for what is coming? Today in Deuteronomy, Moses presents Israel with a stark choice: a blessing for obedience or a curse for disobedience. He instructs them on the centralized place of worship—reminding them that they cannot simply worship God however they please, but must follow His design. In the Gospel of Luke, Jesus echoes this call to intentionality, urging His followers to live with their "lamps burning" and their hearts ready for His return, while warning of the divisions that His message will bring.Today’s Scripture:📖 Deuteronomy 11–12 – Moses highlights the wonders Israel has seen and places before them the blessing and the curse. He commands the destruction of pagan altars and establishes the principle of "the place the Lord your God will choose," emphasizing that holiness requires exclusive devotion.📖 Luke 12:35–59 – Jesus speaks on the necessity of being ready for the Son of Man's return.
