-- Your past does not determine your future when your hope is centered in the gospel of God’s redeeming grace. God does not just want to forgive your past; He wants to use it. -- We all have a "BC" (Before Christ) history filled with mistakes, but in Christ, we become new creatures. God does not just improve our old selves; He transforms us completely. -- When you feel the weight of shame, remember that God’s grace is greater than your failures. Where sin increased, grace abounded all the more. -- Your identity is no longer found in your addiction, your divorce, or your mistakes. Your true identity is found in being "in Christ." -- God specializes in redeeming broken stories. He refuses to let your pain have the final word, and He can even restore the years the locusts have eaten.
