Join our conversation!Let’s Journey Together and spend a Moment with Father. I’m Linda Goldfarb, and I want to encourage and inspire your walk with the Lord. For more encouragement, please visit Linda Goldfarb.com. I’m so glad you’re here. How do you respond to the kindness of others?Perhaps you smile.Maybe you ponder the prompting of their actions.Quite often, another’s kindness leads me to be kind in return. When we respond to others with kindness, even when they don’t “deserve “ it, the situation is defused. “A gentle answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger” (Proverbs 15:1 NIV).My humanity wants to react in kind to the actions of others, which is not always in kindness. I can justify a harsh reaction when one of my family members is being wrongly treated.Injustice can prompt me to get ready for a fight.Indifference can impact how I treat others. What about you?Kindness, on the other hand, turns hearts toward Father. Oh, that each of us would make a conscious choice to be kind, how different our world would be.Let’s Journey Together.Lord, help my words and actions reflect who I am in You, not who I am in the world. Guide my mind and my heart to choose wisely every day. Hallelujah.Do not merely listen to the word and so deceive yourselves; do what it says. James 1:22 May YHWH bless you, keep you, and guide you in all you do.
