Chris Dunn got screened for her kids, turns out SHE has type 1 diabetes

Imagine getting your kids screened for T1D and agreeing to do it yourself, just to set a good example, and then your test is the one that comes back with type 1! That's exactly what happened to Chris Dunn. She was positive for all of the autoantibodies and has since been treated with Tzield, the medication shown to delay the onset.
