What does the cross and Christ's resurrection mean for us? The message of the cross is the power of God that progressively continues to transforms us, prospers us, blesses us, heals us, protects us and makes us whole! (The true meaning of salvation is THEE wholeness of God.) Through the renewing of our minds to the message of the cross we become progressively more like Jesus and his work on the inside of us increases in it’s effect daily. The message of the cross is the truth about what happened on the cross of Calvary. Jesus who knew no sin became sin so that we could become the righteousness of Christ in Him. Jesus did not just pay the price for our sins on Calvary, He broke the power and the effect of sin in the lives of all who would receive Him as Lord and Savior. The message of the cross is more than a story, it is the POWER of God unto salvation. In other words, those who believe, receive and embrace the revelation of what Jesus did on the cross also receive the anointed impartation contained within the message. The crucifix emphasizes Jesus' sacrifice—his death by crucifixion, which Christians believe brought about the redemption of mankind.  To us, the resurrection is a metaphor of to die is to live. Jesus died so we might have life and life for abundantly.  Tune in as we break down our interpretation of the crucifixion. Pope Pius the Tenth Frances Alice Forbes Pope Saint Pius X (2 June 1835 – 20 August 1914), born Giuseppe Melchiorre Sarto, was Pope from 4 August 1903 to his death in 1914. He was the first pope since Pius V (1566 to 1572) to be canonized. St. Pius X is known for vigorously opposing modernist interpretations of Catholic doctrine, promoting traditional devotional practices and orthodox theology. His most important reform was to publish the first Code of Canon Law, which collected the laws of the Church into one volume for the first time. He was also considered a pastoral pope, in the sense of encouraging personal holiness, piety and a daily lifestyle reflecting deep Christian values. (Summary adapted from Wikipedia)
