Christ Character That Should Be Formed In Believers

Matt.7.20 - Thus, by their fruit you will recognize them.All through Jesus earthly ministry he taught us how to live in this world demonstrating his kind of character both toward God and man. The Holy Bible is our reference guide on how Christ character, attitude and behaviour can be formed in us. But little have we pay attention to this guide. That's why many of us are not living the way he wants us to live.No wonder the Apostle Paul says in Gal.4.19 - My dear children, for whom I am again in the pains of childbirth until Christ is formed in you. Therefore, the following include Christ character that should be formed in you as a believer in Christ.1. Love: Matt.9.36 - But when He saw the multitudes, He was moved with compassion for them, because they were weary and scattered, like sheep having no shepherd.Mark.1.41 - Filled with compassion, Jesus reached out his hand and touched the man. "I am willing," he said. "Be clean!"John.13.35 - By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another.2. Humility: Phil.2.5 - Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus,Phil.2.6 - who, being in the form of God, did not consider it robbery to be equal with God,Phil.2.7 - but made Himself of no reputation, taking the form of a bondservant, and coming in the likeness of men.Phil.2.8 - And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself and became obedient to the point of death, even the death of the cross.Luke.14.8 - "When you are invited by anyone to a wedding feast, do not sit down in the best place, lest one more honorable than you be invited by him;Luke.14.9 - and he who invited you and him come and say to you, "Give place to this man,' and then you begin with shame to take the lowest place.3.
