Christmas Eve double homicide suspect arrested / Neshoba County cracking down on impaired driving

A man is facing two capital murder charges in connection with a Christmas Eve double-homicide in Jackson. Law enforcement took 24-year-old Dennis Summers into custody on Monday. Summers is accused of shooting and killing 22-year-old Rodney Gilbert and 20-year-old George Smith on Lynn Avenue this past December. The Neshoba County Sheriff's Office and the Philadelphia Police Department are participating in the "Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over" campaign from August 17th through September 7th.
