Christmas Service - A Child is Born But a Son is Given

This Christmas I want you to carefully consider your state in the Lord whether you are a child or a son. A child is born, you don’t have to do anything to be a child. But once you are born, you have to strife to become a son or a daughter. Sonship is a stage of responsibility. Child is a young human being below the age of puberty or maturity or below the legal age of majority or maturity. Son connotes maturity or coming of age as it relates to your identity or who you are in God. When God desires to bless mankind, He gave mankind a man in the person of Jesus Christ.
