Christmas Stories

Merry Christmas everyone, and may grace, mercy, and peace be multiplied to you. Last week, we talked about John the Baptist, the forerunner of Christ. This week, Doug will be preaching from Luke 1, which gives us the backstory of John’s parents and the role God had for them. These incredible stories were told to share the amazing things God did to prepare the way for Christ. Regardless of how these stories are told, Jesus is the most important part, not just in these stories, but in our stories as well.  “Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Matthew 28 19-20 Don’t forget to pray for one another, especially during these uncertain times.
