SCORES. #2 Boston College 3, #5 Maine 0 Andre Gasseau scored twice and Ryan Leonard scored his fifth of the season as second-ranked BC swept a top-five showdown with host Maine to improve to 7-1. Jacob Fowler stopped 26 shots to pick up his third shutout of the season. BC is now 2-0 in Hockey East, while the two losses were the first of the season for the Black Bears. Air Force 2, Canisius 1 Austin Schwartz scored the game-winning powerplay goal with under a minute remaining to lift Air Force past Canisius in Atlantic Hockey America play. Guy Blessing with 27 saves in goal for Air Force, who evened its record at 6-6-1 and 3-1 in Atlantic Hockey. Canisius fell to 3-8, 3-2 in conference.
