SCORES. We begin where we did on Friday with Arizona State and Denver and the Sun Devils DID IT AGAIN, beating No. 1 Denver 5-2 pulling off an improbable road sweep at Magness Arena. Artem Schlaine scored twice, giving him three goals on the weekend, as ASU moved to 6-7-1 and handed Denver its first two losses of the season. No. 3 Boston College fell to Northeastern 4-2 as Dylan Hryckowian scored twice for the Huskies. No. 4 Minnesota completed a sweep of Notre Dame with a 5-3 win, led by Jimmy Snuggerud’s two goals, improving the Gophers to 12-2. No. 5 Michigan might not have scored early, but they eventually scored often, overwhelmed Penn State 10-6, converting on 25 percent of their shots. T.J. Hughes netted four goals, and Michael Hage added a goal and four assists as Michigan rallied from a 3-0 deficit. And it was the complete opposite in Colorado Springs where No. 7 Colorado College edged No. 11 St. Cloud State 1-0 in overtime with Philippe Blais-Savoie’s scoring the game-winner in a goaltender duel. CC netminder Kaidan Mbereko and St. Cloud State’s Isak Posch combined to stop 61 of 62 shots on the night. No. 8 Cornell rebounded from Friday’s loss to Quinnipiac with a 5-0 shutout of Princeton as five different players scored. No. 9 Western Michigan swept Minnesota-Duluth with a 4-1 win as Tim Washe scored twice, keeping Western undefeated in NCHC play at 5-0-1. They’re 8-1-1 overall. No. 10 Providence rallied to beat LIU 4-3 in overtime with Nick Poisson’s game-winner just 58 seconds into OT. No. 12 North Dakota edged Robert Morris 1-0, with Sacha Boisvert  scoring early and Hobie Hedquist stopping 20 shots for the shutout. No. 15 UMass Lowell salvaged a split with UConn in a 1-0 win as Libor Nemec’s first-period goal held up. No. 17 Minnesota State swept Michigan Tech with a 3-1 win as Ralfs Bergmanis and Adam Eisele scored in the third period. Colgate upset No. 18 Quinnipiac 3-2 in overtime as Daniel Pannetta scored his seventh of the season for the game-winner. No. 19 Clarkson topped Yale 4-0 with four different players finding the net.Elsewhere, Niagara edged American International 2-1, Bentley blanked Air Force 2-0, and Mercyhurst defeated Canisius in a shootout after a 3-3 tie. Sacred Heart also won in a shootout after tying RIT 3-3. Augustana defeated Ferris State 4-1, and Bemidji State edged St. Thomas 2-1. Brown topped St. Lawrence 2-1 in overtime, while Omaha dominated Miami 8-1. Alaska-Anchorage tied Lake Superior State 4-4 and won in the shootout  Stonehill defeated Lindenwood 3-1.On Sunday, we had three contests. Vermont competed a sweep of No. 20 UMass with a 3-2 victory, American International beat Niagara 5-2 and Lake Superior State beat Alaska-Anchorage 4-2. In women’s action, top-ranked Wisconsin improved to 15-1 with a 5-2 win over St. Thomas as Casey O’Brien scored twice and Laila Edwards netted her 14th of the season. O’Brien also had a pair of assists, giving her 140 for her career, which sets a new school record. Minnesota State upset No. 2 Ohio State 4-1, with Taylor Otremba scoring two third-period goals to seal the Mavericks’ first win over the Buckeyes since December 1, 2018. No. 10 St. Cloud State earned a home-and-home split with No. 3 Minnesota, winning 3-1 as Sanni Ahola made 38 saves and Avery Ferrell scored her fifth goal of the year for the Huskies. No. 4 Minnesota-Duluth swept Bemidji State with a 2-0 win behind goals from Tova Henderson and Olivia Mobley. No. 5 Colgate topped No. 7 Quinnipiac 4-1 as Kristyna Kaltounkova scored twice to take the national lead in goals with 15. No. 6 Clarkson edged Yale 4-3 in overtime on Caroline Goffredo’s game-winner, while No. 8 Cornell rallied from a 3-0 deficit to beat Princeton 4-3 on Avi Adam’s late goal. No. 9 St. Lawrence tied Brown 1-1 but picked up the extra point with a shootout win. No. 14 UConn defeated No. 11 Boston College 2-1. In Atlantic Hockey America, No. 12 Penn State blanked Robert Morris 4-0. RIT edged Mercyhurst 4-3, while Lindenwood topped Syracuse 4-1. In the NEWHA, Assumption defeated St. Michael’s 3-1, Sacred Heart shut out Franklin Pierce 4-0, and LIU tied Post 2-2 but earned the shootout win.
