It's the #CollegeHockey Scoreboard Show for October 15, 2024. Just one game on the schedule tonight and it’s a Tuesday treat in Hockey East on the women’s side. Sarah Davies goal with five minutes to play helped rally Providence from a two-goal deficit to beat 10th-ranked Quinnipiac 3-2 on Tuesday. The Bobcats jumped out to a 2-0 lead after goals by Kendall Cooper and Emerson Jarvis. Reichen Kirchmair started chipping away with a goal in the second period before Kiara Kraft's fourth goal of the year tied it up halfway through the third. Davies sent her game-winner into the net five minutes later. Both teams are now 4-2 on the season. There’s nothing on the ice on Wednesday, but four games on Thursday. On the women’s side, Post visits ninth-ranked Colgate while RPI takes on RIT in a game that’s sure to trip up those who aren’t good at acronyms. On the men’s side, Bowling Green will head up to Lawson to face 17th-ranked Western Michigan in a matchup of two teams who see most of their sports action in the Mid-American Conference, while Robert Morris will travel to Oxford to face the Redhawks of Miami.
