Robert Morris overwhelmed Miami 5-1, as Trent Wilson tallied his first two career goals and added an assist while Tr evor LeDonne added two goals of his own. RMU surged to a 5-0 lead, forcing Miami’s goalie Bruno Bruveris out of the game halfway through the second period. This marked RMU’s first official game after a 2-1 mark in exhibition action. On the women’s side, ninth-ranked Colgate cruised past Post with a 6-1 victory, led by Kaia Malachino’s two goals, her fifth and sixth of the season, which tied her for the national lead. RIT and RPI played to a 3-3 tie, with RPI rallying from two-goal deficits twice, but RIT came away with the shootout victory. Both teams now stand at 4-2-1. Taking a look at Friday’s action, it’s a pretty full slate, including some monster matchups on the women’s side.
