College Hockey ScoreboardIt's the #CollegeHockey Scoreboard Show for October 24, 2024. We just had one game tonight and it was top-ranked Wisconsin hosting Bemidji State. Let’s get to it -  No analysis, no breakdowns, it’s JUST THE SCORES. Thursday’s lone game in the land of major college hockey was in Madison where Laila Edwards scored her nation-leading ninth goal of the season as three other Badgers also scored to lead undefeated and top-ranked Wisconsin past Bemidji State 4-0 in WCHA action.Wisconsin improved to 9-0 on the season and is 5-0 in the WCHA.With that being the only game, let’s set the table for Friday. On the women’s side,  No. 1 Wisconsin finishes up the second half of its home series against Bemidji State, while Minnesota State travels to No. 4 Minnesota. No. 8 St. Cloud State faces St. Thomas in the front end of a home-and-home.In non-conference action, No. 2 Ohio State hosts Stonehill in the IceBreaker, which also includes No. 11 Cornell taking on No. 12 Penn State. In other ranked action, No. 3 Clarkson visits Boston College, No. 6 St. Lawrence plays RIT, and No. 7 Colgate hosts Maine. In the ECAC, No. 9 Quinnipiac plays Brown, No. 13 Princeton faces Yale, Dartmouth visits RPI, and Harvard is at Union.In Hockey East, No. 14 Northeastern takes on Providence, and Vermont visits New Hampshire.In NEWHA, Franklin Pierce plays Post.Other non-conference action sees Merrimack at Lindenwood, Robert Morris is at St. Anselm and Boston University is at Syracuse.Friday’s men’s college hockey schedule features several ranked non-conference matchups. No. 1 Denver hosts No. 20 Wisconsin, while No. 3 Boston University travels Grand Forks to face No. 7 North Dakota. The only other ranked head-to-head is in Mankato with a battle of Mavericks as No. 16 Omaha faces No. 18 Minnesota State. No. 4 Michigan State plays at Canisius, and No. 5 Minnesota hosts St. Thomas in the front-end of a home-and-home that sees Game 2 take place at the XCel Energy Center in St. Paul. No. 6 Maine faces Northeastern in Hockey East action.Alaska Test Time, Seawolf style  as No. 9 Colorado College heads to Alaska-Anchorage, No. 12 St. Cloud State hosts Augustana, and No. 11 Quinnipiac faces New Hampshire. No. 13 Providence plays Vermont in Hockey East, while UConn visits No. 15 Upon.  No. 17 Notre Dame hosts LIU. Rounding out the ranked teams in action, No. 19 Ohio State hosts on Bowling Green on the front-end of a home-and-home there as well.  In Atlantic Hockey America, Air Force plays at American International, Bentley travels to Army West Point, and Niagara faces Robert Morris. In the CCHA, Bemidji State takes on Ferris State.
