City Matters: New PFAS-free wells, a K-Pop show, and a $50 million logistics park deal

Galesburg City Manager Eric Hanson joined Galesburg's Morning News live in studio on Monday, Aug. 3, 2026, to preview this evening's Galesburg City Council meeting, the first of two sessions this August, set for 6 p.m. at City Hall. Council's agenda  includes an inducement resolution for a new TIF district along South Henderson Street, an engineering agreement for two new PFAS-free wells in Oquawka, final reading of a private parking lot maintenance ordinance, and approval for a live K-Pop entertainment event at Lake Storey Pavilion later this month.
