Compositora, crítica y agente musical, pianista, editora, profesora, madre y esposa, Clara Schumann una de las tantas mujeres del siglo XIX que enfrentó con serenidad los prejuicios que sufría su género, falleció un 20 de mayo hace 125 años. En sus inicios, Clara se vio obligada a publicar su música con un seudónimo masculino, y lo gracioso es que nadie noto que era música escrita por manos femeninas. Su música y ella misma, eran una fuerza de la naturaleza. Fue tan buena pianista como Liszt, tan buena compositora como su esposo Robert Schumann; y una esposa, madre, abuela y mujer tan perseverante como la que más. Quizá su hazaña más notable es que a pesar de las adversidades, sociales y familiares puedo hacer lo que quería: Música. Hoy escucharemos de Clara Schumann el Scherzo no. 2 en do menor, op. 14 interpretado por Isata Kanneh-Mason.
