It’s slowly ruining your ability to think clearly Lesson #2: Over-reliance on social media content reduces our ability to think for ourselves. Our thoughts are not our own. Lesson #3: To develop mental clarity, there is a myriad of ways: remove social media apps from your devices, lock apps that you use often, and curate content that promotes education, information, and knowledge that you specifically seek. Lesson #4: Learn to be comfortable with silence and your own thoughts. Lesson #5: Focus is a product of a clear mind, and clarity is a product of focused intentions. Lesson #6: Remove background noise and distracting visuals when you’re trying to focus. Lesson #7: In order to refresh your focus, involve intentional distractions in your workflow. Get up, get out, and get active. Lesson #8: One of the most powerful productivity tools is the flow state. Lesson #9: Experiment with lyrical and non-lyrical noise to find what type of background helps you actually focus. Lesson #10: Resilience develops through repeated action. Repeated action improves competence. Competence improves confidence. Lesson #11: Good people practice until they get it right. Great people practice until they can’t get it wrong.
