Claustrophobia

from spiritual principles made practical's podcast · host Scott Friedman

I believe the claustrophobia I've been experiencing in my dreams is the result of me holding back the expression of who I am and what I know.  My whole life I've felt it hasn't been safe to be me.  I've been afraid if I expressed who I truly I am, I would be attacked, ostracized, alone and rejected.  My experience is largely the opposite, and yet the fear persists. In order to have any life at all, I realized early on that I would have to act in spite of fear to have anything close to a life worth living.  In many ways  my entire life has been the process of accepting and expressing more of who I truly am in spite of my fear of doing so.  The alternative is to create the ultimate suffering of rejecting myself.  No pain is greater than giving up on myself; not even the fear of accepting and expressing myself.   We create our world with the thoughts we act on.  I offer coaching to help people be aware of their thoughts and the power they have to choose which thoughts to act on and which to not act on.  The first coaching session is a free 30 minute session.  You can schedule that with me by contacting me at [email protected] My books are available on Amazon.  You can find links to the books on my website, www.thoughtcoachingbyscott.com
