Cleveland shooting highlights illegal firearms crisis across the province—GPL Chair

Residents of the Jumpers informal settlement in Cleveland, Johannesburg, suspect illegal mining to be behind last night's mass shooting. Twelve people were killed and nine others wounded after a group of men randomly opened fire in the informal settlement. The more than ten suspects then fled the scene in a taxi.
