Close to Home: A Home for All (Luke 3:1-18)

When you think of John the Baptist, what do you picture? Perhaps, you see a wilderness-dwelling, locust-eating weirdo with a penchant for religious rants. This text from Luke certainly does not help with that image. But allegedly, John is preaching the gospel—he is preaching good news.
