from The Last Action Heroes Hosted by The Last Action Heroes
Jatimatic SMG...check! Hand grenades...check! Aviators...check! The Last Action Heroes blast into 2021 with a brand new episode!! We're kicking the New Year off in style cruising the crime addled, neon-noir soaked streets of 1986 Los Angeles as we give cult classic, Sylvester Stallone sizzle reel actioner COBRA, The Last Action Heroes teardown. Crime is a disease...meet the cure. Marion 'Cobra' Cobretti. He's a chizzled, matchstick chewing, badass cop who does all the dirty jobs regular cops don't wanna do...and that always means cooking some fools! When an insane neo-fascist cult, led by the intimidating Night Slasher, begins preying on the weak and vulnerable it's up to Cobra to solve the case, protect the only witness they have left and stop this mass wave of murders the best way he knows how: killing a fuck-ton of people! With a badass 80's soundtrack, gorgeous cinematography, a smorgasbord of product placement and some highly questionable editing choices, we dive into what we think makes this our most era centric movie on the podcast to date.Featuring the hot action cop vocals of MarLEON Cobretti, Night Slasher BJORN, Sergeant DANzales and JESPER Knudsen. So get those aviators on, cock that SMG, chew down on a matchstick and get ready to feel the heat!
