Collaboration Takes Centre Stage at First Ever CDC Newell Ag Summit

The inaugural CDC Newell Ag Summit in June brought together producers, industry, academia, researchers and innovators for a day of collaboration, networking and tours of the renovated and upgraded Crop Diversification Centre near Brooks. County of Newell Reeve Arno Doerksen says they were excited to be able to bring together a diverse group of people.T "This attracted a lot of really good people who have a significant opportunity to make a difference. You know, in in their industry but also to our future here at CDC. A lot of horsepower in the room today, really," said Doerksen. More than 120 attendees participated in the event, introducing newcomers to the capabilities of CDC South while reconnecting industry leaders with its research and development opportunities.
