Collective Agreement Signed for SMMA Workers, Clearing Way for Wage Benefits

The Department of Labour has facilitated the signing of a long-awaited collective agreement between the Supermarine Management Association (SMMA) and the Civil Service Association (CSA), which represents SMMA employees. Signed on July 31, the agreement clears the way for workers to receive negotiated wage benefits effective July 2026. The Department of Labour says the parties have also agreed to begin discussions later this year on the next round of negotiations to strengthen industrial relations and workplace harmony.
