Before the demands of this morning begin to shape our thoughts, let’s pause together. The Lord offers something deeper than a calm moment. He gives us the peace of Christ—a peace that steadies the heart, settles the mind and quietly reminds us that He remains in control. Scripture (NIV) “Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as members of one body you were called to peace. And be thankful.” — Colossians 3:15 Heavenly Father, thank You for the peace that comes through Jesus Christ. As we continue through this day, help us to welcome that peace into every part of our lives. When conversations become difficult, let Your peace guide our words. When decisions become challenging, let Your peace steady our minds. When unexpected moments arise, let Your peace remind us that You are still with us. Teach us to respond with patience instead of haste, with kindness instead of frustration and with gratitude instead of anxiety. May the Holy Spirit help us reflect the gentle character of Christ so that others may see Your love through the way we live today. Fear will not win, because the peace of Christ is greater than every worry we carry. May the peace of Christ guard your heart today, guide your thoughts with wisdom and fill every step of your journey with quiet confidence.
