Colossians 3:19-4:6 - Heavenly, Not Earthly - Part 4

We will pick up our study at verse 19, where we’ll continue discussing the Christian home. God gives responsibilities to wives and husbands. Now Paul will cover the commandment to Children to obey their parents and bondservants and bond servants to obey their masters. In both cases, we see God’s heart for willing submission to those that are over us just as we submit to our Lord Jesus. Jesus Christ is our example of submission as He, being equal to the Father, submitted to the will of the Father. Our willingness to submit to those in authority over us is evidence of our Christianity.
