Why do you think anger is such a common struggle, even among Christians? How would you define ‘righteous anger’ versus the anger of man, which “does not produce the righteousness of God” (James 1:20)? In any given situation, how would you distinguish whether your anger is righteous or sinful? (Consider when Jesus talks about or shows anger; Matthew 5:21; Mark 3:1-6; John 2:13-17; and 10:13-14, versus how He reacts to His temptation, His betrayal by Judas, and His trial and crucifixion.
