Combating Contemporary Hardships: How Poor IS Poor?

When we talk about poverty, we often talk about the people living in rural areas, far away from the city. But there are also people living in big cities but only making RM2,000 a month. How do we classify these people as victims of urban poverty? How are there people living in bad conditions despite being in the heart of Kuala Lumpur or urban areas? Championing safe space and equal access to food and nourishment, best friends Aisya, Alyssa and Ana switched on the lights on the issue with the President and Treasurer of Hunger Hurts Malaysia, Faiz Hadzim as they explore what urban poverty really is and possible ways to combat these modern hardships.
