Comedy Open Mic: Pre-Mic Blog, thoughts, expectations before hitting new mic 1-16-23

Good afternoon listeners, I hope all is well with each and every one of you. On the spur of a moment, I made impromptu, almost cemented decision to attend a comedy open mic tonight. And so, to break up the monotony a little, I am doing a pre-mic blog with my thoughts and feelings before the mic, rather than a post mic summary.
