Community Chat: Milkweed Gardens Update with Charity & Taylor!

We were so thrilled to welcome Charity Stowe and Taylor Carruthers for joining the B100 Morning Show as they share the exciting development details for the Milkweed Gardens in South Bend!  Welcome to the nonprofit wing of Herstoric Development, dedicated to transforming neglected green spaces into thriving places of beauty, belonging, and ecological thriving. Milkweed Gardens Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to cultivating spaces of care, connection, and ecological restoration. We focus on reactivating land in ways that reflect the needs, hopes, and wants of our neighbors. We steward the land and its natural inclination to thrive. It will be revived through: native plantings, pollinator beds, shared greenspace, protective fencing, shade features, places to sit and more.  See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
