This week was a lot of fun starting with a recap of the 63rd annual Pancake Daywith the Salvation Army in Goshen! Erica said: "It's the family. There are so many people I've known my whole life. It feels like home this is our second home." We announced that the Brothers Osborne will be at the Blue Gate on 8/26/26 and Karen was the first person in Michiana to win her way there! Deb celebrated her birthday this week and while we reminisced on a past birthday celebration, Reed was NOT willing to recreate that magic. Craig Aikman with the American Theatre Guild was so gracious to share all the details on the upcoming Broadway to South Bend '26-'27 series!  The American Theatre Guild, the largest not-for-profit touring Broadway presenter in the nation, is thrilled to announce the 2026–27 Season for the Morris Performing Arts Center. What a special day to welcome Executive Director of the Potawatomi Zoo to the morning show, and he wasn't alone! Cricket also made her radio debut! Check out this sweetie eating her applesauce! Ahead of his show at Notre Dame, Luke Combs teamed up with Goldin to open a factory sealed box of NBA cards with 100% of the proceeds benefitting A Rosie Place for Children! He owns the South Bend Cubs, the Class A affiliate of the Chicago Cubs. Since purchasing the team, he has been credited with helping revitalize baseball in downtown South Bend, including major upgrades to the stadium and fan experience. The South Bend Polar Plunge at Four Winds Field was a spectacular day!! While Allison and her husband are unable to have biological children, they knew they wanted to grow their family.   "Somehow, some way I found my way to SAFY, and we never looked back." Mom and daughter duo, Linda & Tina have been fostering through SAFY for decades, knowing that fostering is a long term investment into our community. Tina says, "These kids need you. You're going to need these kids one day, because as they grow older they're going to take care of us. So I want to show them, 'Hey, I'm going to take care of you now, but this is how you take care of your kids. And then your parents, and the older people in the community'.
