Community Special: Stroke Awareness Oregon's Warrior Support Group Reflections

This week on Beyond Stillness: Stories After Stroke we offer a community special highlighting Stroke Awareness Oregon’s Stroke Warrior Support Group.  Stroke Awareness Oregon’s mission is to educate the Central Oregon community about stroke and to support stroke warriors and their families in their best possible lives.  Today, stroke survivors, or warriors as they call themselves, offer reflections on their unique waves through recovery, noting the importance of patience, acceptance, perspective, faith, and community.  They share resources and advice for both physical and emotional recovery.
