Esa mota de polvo, antes de convertirse en estrella fugaz ha tenido una vida azarosa. Tuvo su origen en un cuerpo del tamaño de una enorme montaña de unos 26 kilómetros de ancho que los seres humanos han denominado con los nombres de sus descubridores Swift-Tuttle.
