Confidence & Insecurity

As social beings, our relationships with ourselves - including every part of our being - have a big influence on how we show up in the world. Unaddressed insecurities may manifest in ways we are not aware of. Or, maybe we are aware. Regardless, building confidence requires us to sit in the discomfort of acknowledging our shadows, working with them, and choosing to find that unconditional acceptance (and maybe even love) for all that we are - for how we love ourselves is how we love others.Its tough talking about insecurity, but the courage that vulnerability requires is what creates self-trust and thus, confidence.
