Confident Content: My Content Strategy For/launching My Course in 2024

from Confident Content with Rachel Klaver · host Rachel Klaver

Before you even start to write your course you should think about how you’re going to market it. Big call I know, but here’s the thing… If you exert all your energy on creating the course, you’ll forget to make sure people know about it and buy it. Your marketing needs to be closely aligned with your course creation. And it will actually help you create a better course! Hi - my name is Rachel Klaver and I’m a content marketing coach and strategist for small business owners. I’ve just shut down a course I’ve had over 600 small business owners through since 2020, because I’m about to build a better, more up to date and aligned course with a different delivery model.  I wanted to take you on the journey of what I’m doing to both market this course, build desire for it and why I’m changing from a “all the time entry” to a launch date strategy for this particular model My launch plan could be used by you too for your course The key is to build an audience, build desire, plan on how to get those first people in the door, and how to maximise those first ones to build for future launches. If you’ve got a course launch on the horizon, or you’re trying to work out how to improve on previous launches, then this is the episode for you.  In this episode we cover: Why I’m launching a new offer What I’ve already done to start lead generating Why my marketing plan starts before I create my course How I plan to focus on making the last eight weeks before launch possible What I’ll do with people on the waitlist Why I might offer a discount for the first one What marketing activity I will do and how often over the eight weeks What I’ll do to make it easier for the next launch   Important Links Come to Rachel’s Free content strategy workshops Register interest for Rachel’s content coaching programme Get a FREE copy of THE MARKETING FIX Rachel’s SUBSTACK Rachel’s YouTube Channel Join the My MAP IT Marketing Strategy School Become a part of our Facebook group Buy your copy of Be a Spider, Build a WebSee omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
