Ps Paul spoke about the limitations we place on ourselves when we adopt a stance of defensiveness. We need to be in a place where we can receive correction in whatever form it takes without reacting defensively. Often this will mean laying down our own agendas and allowing God to soften our hearts so that we don’t react defensively.
