Conversation with Halee Surach and Lauren Erndteman who Help Young People Catch their Dreams by way of the NSE International Student Exchange Program- ISE

NSE International Student Exchange - ISEOur high school study abroad programs are designed to bring the many benefits of cross-cultural educational experiences to American students. As participants in our high school exchange program, students will live like a local in their country of choice, attending high school and immersing themselves in a new culture. Language immersion and English-speaking options are available. High school abroad is a once in a lifetime experience! Email is [email protected] Erndteman is a Regional Executive with a non-profit organization called International Student Exchange. She works alongside Halee Surach to make dreams come true for international high school students. She has always had a passion for learning and understanding other cultures. She began this while in high school when she traveled to Japan, then again after high school when she volunteered in Africa. In early spring of 2022, Lauren was given the opportunity to join Halee working to find and support host families across the United States to connect them with a high school exchange student. Lauren grew up in West Michigan and now lives in Southwest Michigan after graduating from Western Michigan University with her bachelors in 2021. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her family, working on projects, spending time outside, and traveling. She has visited many U.S. states as well as Japan, Tanzania, and has trips planned to Scotland, Germany (other parts of Europe too).
