Cool Parents

It’s so hard wanting to be a cool parent and still having to be the disciplinarian. We so often want to be our childrens best friend and biggest cheerleader, that we miss the mark on the real things that are needed!!  This is exactly how we are with God, except God never misses the mark.  He wants to be everything for us,  all the things we want to be for our children,  because He is not a man and He never lies. He can be everything we need, if we allow Him to.
