Obedience Over Everything
Obedience is one of the hardest things to master, but it is so beneficial. If God has called you to do, be, or say something to the world His word will not come back void. If you don't step up God will give someone else the assignment. There are people who need you be obedient this season and do what God has called you to do. He is waiting!Scriptures Referenced:Samuel 15:22Titus 3:10Joshua 1:8Psalms 1:2 Psalms 119:97Proverbs 3:1-6Deuteronomy 11:18Proverbs 7: 1-3Psalms 144:15Psalms 128:1Psalms 84Matthew 5:3-11Send a text

Who Are You Working For?
In everything we do—even at work—God should get the glory. That doesn’t mean I’m telling anyone to go out and quit their job. Don't you put that on me! Lol. But Colossians 3:23 reminds us to work with all our heart, as if we’re working for the Lord and not just for people.Whether you’re a cashier, teacher, plumber, or pastor—it’s all about your heart posture. Are you working for the world, or are you working for God?Scriptures Referenced:Colossians 3:23Galatians 6:9Send a text

Thank You Lord
Sometimes we just have to stop and say thank you! No matter what we are doing or where we are. Whether we are in the grocery store, at work, in line at the post office, or even driving down the road(as I'm doing as I record this pod lol). We just have to give thanks and praise to the one who keeps us day by day and loves us unconditionally! Thank You Lord!Send a text

Prayer Is Your Petition
In life, when we're in trouble, confused, or simply trying to ensure we're aligned with God's will, the advice we often hear is: "Pray, Pray, Pray." Now, don't get me wrong—that's sound advice. But we also need to "Read, Read, Read" God's Word. Additionally, we must know how to pray, and once again, that guidance is found in His Word.I pray this blesses you as we continue to fumble our way to faith.Scriptures Referenced:Matthew 6:9James 5:16Philippians 4:61 Thessalonians 5:17John 15:7Matthew 6:6Send a text

What Is Your Idol?
The first commandment God gives us is: "Thou shall not place any god before me." It's easy to get distracted by the things, people, or even ourselves, and allow them to take the place of God in our lives. But when we do this, we unknowingly create idols. We challenge you to take an introspective look and ask yourself, "What is my idol?"Scriptures Referenced: 1 Corinthians 7:14Matthew 6:34Proverbs 22:61 Corinthians 10:14John 17:16Send a text

HBD Bear
When I gave my all and really decided to surrender everything to God, and move in the ways that he would have me to move, I was very uncertain of what God was doing in my life. I was very confused to what God was doing in my life, but I let go of the confusion and uncertainty because those things are not of God. He opened my eyes to something and someone better. Here is another piece of my testimony and what God will do in your life if you just simply allow him to; witth no fear, anxiety, doubt, guilt, or shame, but allowing God to to be God. Grace!!!
Grace is the reason we are saved, when we decide to let go of our old selves, life, and messiness! Grace is the reason we wake up! Grace is the reason we get a chance to say thank you God, for all You have done! And if He never does another thing, Grace is the reason we have what we need to keep pushing! Show Grace to others and yourself today and everyday moving forward and watch the shift in your life! That shift is God and His Grace! 3 vs. The World
We never really think about how we treat God. We believe that we can just ask for whatever we want when we are praying and He should be grateful that we are talking to Him and He should do what we asked. We do this because this is exactly how we treat people we do life with! Our relationship with people often reflects our relationship with God. If you want to have a better relationship with people and really learn how to treat others, work on your relationship with God. He will show you how to have a better relationship, not just with others but also yourself. God should be the foundation of all relationships. You Are Someone's Bible
We never really know how we can be the ones to influence someone but as a follower of Christ, you have to be cautious of your behavior showing a life that opens the ears of sinners and encourages the hearts of believers. Spiritual habits add value when they reflect obedience that is grounded in God’s love. So people can see the added value to your life and want to be a part of that and even have some for themselves. It’s freeing to live in Christ. ” Everything is permissible,” but not everything is beneficial. “Everything is permissible,” but not everything builds up.“1 Corinthians 10:23 Being someone’s bible simply means that they can see learn and grow in Christ from seeing hearing and feeling the love of Christ coming from you! The Truth
When's the last time you told someone a lie? Think really hard! No matter how big or small when's the last time you told a lie? Who was it to? Why did you lie? Was it to not hurt someone's feelings? Was it to not get in trouble? Was it to make a point? Was it to avoid a tougher conversation? For whatever reason it was, what if God lied to you? You would never let Him live it down! You would hold Him accountable because you have standards for God! Well the believe it or not! To call yourself a Christian means there are standards for you as well and those standards are in the Bible! Being truthful and telling the truth is the only way to understand what your true standards are and understanding that telling the truth and being truthful is not hate or hateful! The truth can be a hard pill to swallow but it's the right medicine to administer! You love because He first loved us!!!Scriptures Referenced:Matthew 22: 34-401 John 4: 19-21Jeremiah 29:11Jeremiah 29:131 Corinthians 6:9-13Genesis 8:211 John 3:11-24Send a text

Worship Is Your Weapon
Are you licensed to carry? Are you ready to draw a sword? How good is your aim, if given a sling and stone? Do you have the courage to use a weapon when it’s called for? In times of spiritual warfare, these aren’t the best weapons to brandish. And with this being the season finale I’m not going to war alone!! All of your real strength is in the power of your lungs! Your worship! When we worship, we stop looking at the fight in front of us and start looking at the God in us! Worship breaks down walls. Worship brings down heaven and draws us near to God! The Real Reason
During the holidays, I think it's really important that we remember the whole reason we have this season. Everywhere you turn around, there are reminders of what the world would have you believe is the true meaning of this season. With Christmas lights and trees to snowmen and reindeer, it's easy to lose sight of the "real reason", which is Jesus! So listen as we have fun together finding out all about the true "Reason for the Season"! Even/Uneven Exchange?
Outside of me saying bro way too many times at the expense of my teenage son adding it to my vocabulary lol for the exchange of me sounding cool In life we all give things and receive things! Especially around this time of year, we seem to do that more than often! Let’s try giving and receiving more than just material things. Give God all of you so you may receive the gift of salvation! It’s definitely easier said than done when thinking of the exchange we have with God! Exchanging His son with the expectation that even with us having free will we will choose Him above all else! Listen through to the end of this episode we want to have an exchange with you for a chance to give and receive this season's blessing! Hey, Read Your Bible!
There are always going to be times where we feel like we are running on broken record mode. Times where we feel like we are doing the same things over and over, and instead of us recognizing, in the moment, that what we are doing is saving our lives, it becomes ritual. We feel like we’re taking medicine or running on a treadmill going fast and seeing little progression. In these times it’s always easier said than done to open your Bibles or pray, but this is the best time to do it! When you’re feeling like you don’t want to! Don’t let your joy be stolen away! Open up to something you haven’t read or turn to something familiar that always gets you throug, but maybe read it in a different version of the Bible be it the NIV, CSB, or NLT. Read something you have never read before and complete it! The smallest books of the Bible has some major checkpoints! Cool Parents
It’s so hard wanting to be a cool parent and still having to be the disciplinarian. We so often want to be our childrens best friend and biggest cheerleader, that we miss the mark on the real things that are needed!! This is exactly how we are with God, except God never misses the mark. He wants to be everything for us, all the things we want to be for our children, because He is not a man and He never lies. He can be everything we need, if we allow Him to. We can not be everything to our children but if we strive to parent how God wants to parent us then we are closer to cool than we know!Scriptures referenced:Hebrews 12:6Proverbs 12:1Proverbs 22:61 Peter 3:8, 20Psalms 119:105Send a text

Thank You
EPS.6 THANKFULI can’t even begin to explain how excited and grateful I am for this opportunity. I am so very thankful to a honest and faithful God. God has not been anything other than absolutely amazing to me during this season of me trying to continually seek His face. I went through a time of fear, when it came to my eviction, and I couldn’t think of why God was telling me to continue to record when I had no way to pay my rent. I was thinking that there was no way I could focus on my podcast in the middle of this crisis but, God reminded me that He is not a God of confusion and what I heard in this moment was exactly that, continue recording!! So, I am here doing what He has called me to do, share His wonderful works, promises and word through my podcast and taking it one day at a time. I am so very thankful to everyone who has downloaded my podcast as of late. I hope that my struggle to stop fumbling my faith and continue to seek His face encourages even one of you. Then, I have done my job. Send a text

Eviction brought Conviction
After receiving an eviction notice on 9/1/23, I had to take a real look at myself and understand where my disobedience is taking me. Not only am I casually fumbling through life but I'm not following the path God is clearly lighting ahead of me. So I am excited to be held not only accountable for making sure I am telling the world about how faithful God is but how I am getting to see His faithfulness play out in my life. The amount of grace that we are shown everyday goes unnoticed when we ignore what He is calling us to do and moving off of how we feel about life and the trials that we are going to face. We have to be willing to truly die of ourselves and listen to Gods voice when He is directing us through life. Having Gods view from heaven is our heaven on Earth and to truly live in His promises we have to stand on His word! I'm always interceding for you. I love you. Send a text

God is so faithful…
In this episode of Fumble to Faith I tell part one of a recent fumble I caused in my life. Not being obedient to what God was asking me to do. Not seeing said blessing or so I thought and not thanking God for them I almost made the biggest fumble I’ve made in a while. Letting Go
Welcome back to Fumble to Faith I am so excited to get back into recording! God has truly been moving in my life! I have been through quite a bit over the course of these last four months but I am excited for whats happen and for whats to come! When letting people go it’s always a very tough decision but God is sure to be there for you. It helped me to remember that when God removes things or people from your life it is almost always to replace it with something so much better. God removed me from home to get me away from distractions and influences that I was not strong enough to leave myself. Welcome to the first episode of my podcast Fumble to Faith! Wow, it's wild I have a podcast! It's a shorty so I hope you enjoy it! This short is simply about treating others as you wish to be treated and the first steps to how you can start if you don’t. I thought I lived in love until I really begin to trust God and he removed everything that’s blinding me so I can begin to work on myself to love other how I love myself. He is still working on me and I’m going to share my journey sins and all! And maybe change a life along the way!!! Send a text
