In respect of their strike, my content has shifted in the meantime to not discuss struck work. However, in this episode, some struck work is mentioned as at the time of recording there weren’t as many updates yet. We support SAG-AFTRA and the WGA in their strike and hope that an agreement is soon reached, as without their incredible hard work we would not have any of the works mentioned or any of these characters that we love, brought to life. ** _____________________________________ In this week's episode, we step into a world of incredible creativity, talent, and confidence! Join me as I chat with Dom about their experience in cosplaying and how it can impact one's confidence in a positive way. We explore where the passion began and Dom's journey in cosplaying to where they are today. Cosplaying can expand your understanding and connection with your favourite characters, as well as allow you to make it your own in a unique way. There are so many ways for you to cosplay, from using clothes from your closet to handmaking every piece or buying the costume itself - you have so many options! With cosplaying also comes the incredible community of cosplayers who uplift one another on their journey. Like many communities on social media, you never know who you'll meet or what opportunities will come your way. At the end of the episode, I challenge Dom to a little game of "Guess the Character", where I challenge Dom with riddles on some of the characters she has cosplayed! Enjoy! . . .
