Peanuts.  Terror of all new parents, and some old parents as well.  Most of us take them for granted.  In fact, peanut allergies are quite rare, but when you do have them, watch out.  Who knows, maybe in 15,000 years we'll look back at human history and wonder what our ancestors were thinking eating these universally toxic legumes.  Universal except in Thailand.  You really can't have Thailand without peanuts.
