Could You Name How You Serve God?

Jesus asks a question that cuts through religion, excuses, and image management: “What do you seek?” That single line from John 1 becomes the diagnostic for every heart, and it forces us to name what we are really chasing: comfort, meaning, approval, control, or Christ himself.We continue the Basic Training mini-series by talking about the “core competencies” that mark a mature Christian and a healthy church. We connect discipleship to the Great Commission and get practical about what maturity looks like on the ground. We revisit worship as a weekly, corporate priority that declares God’s worth, not just with words but with our calendars.
