COVID-19: Un complemento hacia la vida.

Uno de los misterios de la pandemia de COVID-19 es por qué causa escasos o ningún síntoma en algunas personas, mientras que otras, normalmente de edad más avanzada, pueden sucumbir a ella. Este pequeño porcentaje de pacientes desarrolla una serie de síntomas severos que pueden causarles la muerte. Entre ellos se encuentra la formación de trombos y daño a la pared de los vasos sanguíneos, lo que puede causar infartos de miocardio, ictus cerebrales o fallo renal, entre otros serios problemas.
