Coyotes and Cougars - Bill welcomes Dan and his wife Beth to the pod. Bill recaps the horrible incident in a locker room at Clyde-Savannah High School and tells what else he has learned about the situation over the weekend. Bill reads a social media message he got from someone regarding how the podcast talked about the incident and Bill read his response back, in the end there is agreement. There have been warnings about coyote sightings in area parks, Bill says there have been Cougar attacks in Pittsford, but those are random and in bars when the Cougar has been over served. Bill thinks there may be more Coyotes in North America than at any other point in history. To prove his point he plays a news story from Texas a few days ago about a Coyote attack on a beach, then plays a story from Canada about a small dog being attacked by five coyotes. Bill answers a live call and it goes how you think it may but, the caller does make some good points about gambling. Talk transitions to a Title 9 rule where if there is not an equivlant high school sports team for a girl or a boy, then they can legally play on whatever team is available – for example, there are no High School Girls Football teams, therefore girls have played on boys teams. In Massachusetts there was an incident in a Field Hockey game, a boy plays on the girls team, took a shot on goal and ended up knocking an opposing female players teeth out. While legal, is it fair? Are players safety in jeopardy when a boy plays on a girls team? Ask Beth! Bill thinks Beth would be great at giving advice and he reads a text message about a woman walking out on a date and wondering if she should send the guy money to cover her portion. Beth gives her opinion and talks about her time on dating apps. The Buffalo Bills played after the taping of this pod, but Bill and Dan discuss some changes in the NFL including the Raiders. Dan plays audio that explains why the team may have made the moves they made.
