Craig FLEXES ultimate leverage, forces VGK's hand to become head coach

Ryan Craig basically outmaneuvered the Golden Knights.  He had all the leverage to become VGK's new head coach. His contract with AHL Henderson ran out and George McPhee said this week that teams were inquiring about wanting to interview the on-the-rise coach for head coaching positions.  When it came down to it, Craig held all the cards.  It was either hire him as the head coach now, or he would leave for another opportunity.  Ultimately John Tortorella was sent packing, and Craig takes over the reins as the Golden Knights head coach.  VGK will open with the Conor Bedard-less Chicago Blackhawks on opening night.  The remainder of the NHL schedule will be released today.
